The Friends of LUH are at an end of their fund raising campaign to purchase the Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Catherisation Suite of equipment. The equipment was delivered to LUH in September 2019 and is currently in the process of being installed and commissioned.
This equipment will be used by Consultant Radiologists & Consultant Cardiologists to carry out diagnostic and interventional procedures and will provide a service to patients in Donegal that heretofore they may have to travel for previously.
This new service development is funded 100% by the Friends of LUH to the tune of €750,000.
The Friends of LUH would like to express their gratitude for the generosity of the people of Donegal in assisting them in their fund-raising efforts.
