Congratulations and well done to Ardara GAA club for organising a gala weekend on the 6th & 7th April memory of GAA stalwart and HSE staff member Pat Shovlin. Pat’s life was cruelly cut short in October 2017 following a long illness. In his short life, he packed in alot into his family life, his professional life and his sporting life. He was part of the successful backroom team that guided Donegal to an All-Ireland senior football title in 2012. He was loved and a well respected member of staff as Medical Records Manager in Letterkenny University Hospital. He is not forgotten in LUH and it is nice to see that the wider GAA family remember him too.
Please make every effort to attend these events at some point over the weekend as three worthy beneficiaries will benefit.
