Conor Dorrian and three of his friends Charlie Boyle, Conor Gallen & Gareth Coady are taking part in this years Rome marathon in March as part of a fundraising effort to support the Friends of LUH bus to St Lukes Hospital in Dublin. In 2013 & 2017, Conor was a service user of the bus while availing of radiation therapy as part of a package of care for a cancerous brain tumor. He said “we are doing this for a very special charity, one that my family have been lost without while I was attending St Lukes in Dublin”.
Happily this chapter of his life is behind him following a stem cell transplant.
